Restrictions applied to MasterCard transactions in some of the sanction countries
Dear Customer,
Please be advised that HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC (hereinafter the Bank), acknowledging the importance of obligations of HSBC Group and MasterCard payment system in scope of compliance to international sanctions, has restricted the possibility of cash and non-cash MasterCard card transactions with credit cards issued by the Bank in the below countries subject to international sanctions: Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria, North Korea, Crimea Region and Cuba. The changes are in force starting from June 2018.
