Termination of Unallocated Gold Metal account services

Dear Customer,

Please be advised that HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc (hereafter the Bank) has made a decision to terminate the following services related to Customers unallocated gold metal accounts, which will be effective from 04 May, 2015:

  • opening of new metal accounts,
  • purchase of unallocated gold by Customers,
  • making transfers by Customers to other metal account (s) maintained by the Bank.

In that regard the Bank has made respective amendments to its "Unallocated Gold Metal account Terms and Conditions".

Existing customers who have positive balances on their metal accounts at the Bank may retain their accounts, by selling the unallocated gold available on their metal accounts to the Bank, and/or transferring the current balance to metal accounts in other banks.

Please be also advised, that instead of terminated services the Customers may allocate their funds in HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc in the form of bank accounts and deposits.

The changes will enter into force starting from 04, May, 2015.
