Armen Barseghian, head of HSBC Bank Armenia’s department in charge of retail banking services, told a news conference today that the bank has introduced the so-called Sunday banking.
According to him, the idea of Sunday banking is that five of the seven bank branches in Yerevan will be open to customers on days off for more relaxed atmosphere to discuss in detail with bank employees their present and future financial needs.
He said the first Sunday banking day was held last week. He said also that on Sunday banking days some services will be offered on preferential terms, except for transactions with cash.
