HSBC Bank Armenia pays serious attention to the effective risk management

HSBC Bank Armenia pays serious attention the effective risk management, particularly credit risks, Financial Director of HSBC Bank Armenia Gevorg Tarumyan said.

Among other risks Tarumyan mentioned currency risk and mentioned the importance of management of interest rate risks.

"With this purpose Department of Risk Management was established in the bank which deals directly with these issues and works on very serious issues", he said.

CJSC "HSBC Bank Armenia" is affiliate of "HSBC Bank plc" registered on September 1995. "HSBC Bank plc" possesses 70% of portfolio of shares of HSBC Bank Armenia and 30% of shares belong to foreign Armenian investors. Since the end of January 2009, CJSC "HSBC Bank Armenia" is the member of NASDAQ OMX Armenia.
