In 2011 services of HSBC Bank Armenia will become cheaper

In 2011 clients of HSBC Bank Armenia will have opportunity to use the services of the bank by cheaper prices, said Executive Director of the bank Astrid Clifford.

In this regard, deputy executive director, operational director of financial markets Irina Seylanyan said that this innovation will be introduced from April 1 in the frames of the events of celebration of 15 years anniversary of the banking activity in Armenia.

On the day of 15 years anniversary – March 16, HSBC announced about the action "Free banking day" providing its clients opportunity to use free banking services the whole day.

"Our clients responded to this initiative. We registered high growth of using our services – opening of accounts four times more than usual, eight times more users of Internet banking, etc", she said.

The bank started to operate from March 16, 1996. Today it renders services to over 40 thousand clients in Armenia and abroad.

Anniversary celebration events with take place the whole year.

"HSBC Bank plc" possesses 70% of portfolio of shares of HSBC Bank Armenia and 30% of shares belong to foreign Armenian investors. Since the end of January 2009, CJSC "HSBC Bank Armenia" is the member of NASDAQ OMX Armenia.
