Q-Has the number of credit cards increased during the last few months? If yes, how much?
A-We continue to grant new cards but the total number is reducing due to a recent campaign to cancel unprofitable co-branded cards and unused cards with zero limits.

Q-What is the percentage of the card requests that the bank satisfies.
A-82.5 % of all applications for cards with credit limits have been approved since 01JAN2009.

Q-On what conditions does the bank provides credit cards?
A-The bank provides credit cards to its loyal customers (Armenian residents) who have satisfactory account records and banking relationship with HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc for a period of 6 months or more and/or to its pay-roll customers with at least 3 months employment record in companies maintaining satisfactory banking relationship with HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc. However there are exceptions to this broad policy and HSBC adopts a flexible approach.

Q-How many active HSBC credit cards are there today?
A-The number of active credit cards is currently 14,803.
