Tree planting by HSBC Bank Armenia employees - Building a Greener and Sustainable Business in Armenia

HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc staff will participate in a tree planting exercise organized by the Bank in Yerevan in the area near Tsitsernakaberd. Employees of the bank decided to conduct a campaign for raising awareness on how they could limit the impact of climate change in ways that benefit our communities, cities and the environment worldwide.

With the help of Armenia Tree Project, HSBC Armenia hopes to encourage not only its employees but the whole community to volunteer time and energy in activities related to the environment. Within the scope of HSBC Climate Partnership, HSBC Armenia has launched number of environmental actions in its offices such as waste recycling and energy saving. All our offices recycle waste paper and are engaged in reducing electricity use.

HSBC Armenia encourages extensive employee engagement in these activities to cultivate an understanding that small contributions by many people can add up to an important total input on the environment. HSBC Armenia hopes to encourage and further promote the idea of waste recycling by its example among other businesses in Armenia.
