We are looking for talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who:
We welcome applicants from all career and educational background; however in an environment as diverse as ours, professional knowledge, as well as languages fluency in Armenian, English and Russian are exceptionally important for us, i.e.
success depends on you – what kind of thought and effort you have input while completing your Application Form. We read and carefully assess every application against our job requirements to make sure our decisions are always fair.
There is no point in applying for your dream role if you have not done your research and put some decent thought into making the best possible impression with your application.
Please remember that your application is our first contact with you and we get the first impression about you from what you have written. Getting your application right is more important than getting it in first, so pause and follow the steps below to make sure yours is the best that there can be.
What is the role about?
Research the role you are applying for. Review the role profile carefully, the job responsibilities and required qualifications needed for high level performance on the role.
Assess your skills
Review your current skills and experience against the role profile to gain an accurate view of your strengths and possible areas for development.
Is this role for me?
Give genuine thought as to whether this really is the right role for you, making sure it really does fit with your skills, interest and personal motivation in the short and longer term.
Try to avoid simply applying for a role to escape the one you are in. You, as well as the recruiting manager, need to know there is a genuine interest and fit.
If you have gone through the steps above and still feel this is the right role for you, you will need to complete HSBC Application Form carefully filling in all the required fields.
Language
Complete all the sections in English where there is a distinct requirement to do so, otherwise your application will not be processed, as apart from being interested in your views we would also like
to measure the level of your English Language knowledge.
Your professional profile
Try to give as much information as possible about yourself (your skills, motivation, experience gained, long and short term ambitions, interests, benefits, etc.). Make sure your
answers are relevant. In the first stage of recruitment, the information you have provided in your application form is the only way you can show your skills, viewpoint and make us be impressed by your candidacy. Many people fall down at this
stage because they do not answer the question(s) asked, or do not give us enough information.
Substantiate your willingness to work with us
Some of our questions ask you to describe what would be your contribution in HSBC Bank Armenia and what would be the benefits of working in HSBC for yourself. There are points allocated for
each of these answers. Do not concentrate on one and ignore the others. Remember that we cannot hire a staff based on their dreams to work for HSBC only unless there is a real justification of what can mutually be gained.
Clear and brief
Keep your answers informative but concise. We have included a word count for some of the responses. Your answer should be close to, but not more than the word count quoted.
Please clearly state what are the roles you are interested in so as to support us to take your candidacy into consideration for right positions (to further explore the various departments, please visit Areas of Opportunities section).
Send your fully completed Application Form only to vacancy.armenia@hsbc.com as this is the only official e-mail address allocated for job vacancies, all other e-mail recipients bear no responsibility to respond to your e-mail regarding employment matters.
